Palworld 1.1 Update Promises Highly Requested Feature, Developer Stays Mum

Palworld’s long-awaited Version 1.1 update will deliver a feature fans have clamored for — that much is confirmed by developer Pocketpair. But the studio is keeping the nature of that feature under wraps, only teasing that more details will come.

Pocketpair started publicly discussing Version 1.1 in mid-August 2026, when publishing and communications lead John “Bucky” Buckley posted a photo from an internal brainstorming session focused on the game’s next major release. Alongside the image, he invited players to submit their own ideas for what the update should include.

The request came only days after Pocketpair pushed out Palworld update 1.0.3. It ignited the community: around 1,700 responses arrived within a day. That flurry of suggestions included grandiose proposals like a new continent or an additional 20 levels. Buckley, however, was quick to pour cold water on those ambitions, explaining that they fell well beyond the scope of the planned Version 1.1.

Still, at least one substantial addition is coming. Speaking to GamesRadar+ at Gamescom 2026, Buckley revealed that a major requested feature has made the cut. He called it a “big specific feature” that players have wanted “for a while,” yet he declined to disclose exactly what it is.

The teaser leaves the Palworld community guessing. It’s a familiar dance between developer and fans — a promise of something exciting, but not yet the full picture.
