Shipley Clears Injury Report, Set to Play for Eagles vs. Rams

Will Shipley has been cleared to play in Sunday‘s game against the Los Angeles Rams. The Philadelphia Eagles running back practiced in full on Friday and does not carry an injury designation ahead of the Week 4 meeting.

Shipley had been battling a foot injury. He did not practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday. But after logging a full session Friday, the 24-year-old is good to go for the Week 4 meeting with Los Angeles.

Shipley is second on the team in snaps at the running back position behind Saquon Barkley. He hasn’t done much, amassing 28 yards off nine carries throughout the first three weeks of the 2026 campaign.

The Eagles confirmed the clearance. He should play without any limitations, but he will likely continue to be relegated to a depth role behind Barkley for the foreseeable future.

Friday’s injury report carried the tag LARvsPHI. Leo Sells, Eagles correspondent, reported the news Friday, Oct. 2nd 2026, at 4:02pm EDT.

Shipley gives Philadelphia another option in the backfield as the team prepares for the Rams. His practice participation went from none on Wednesday to limited on Thursday to full on Friday, a clear progression that ended with no injury designation for the weekend.
