Michael Bublé The Voice Announcement

NEW YORK, NY — Canadian singer Michael Bublé surprised fans and fellow Coaches when he announced his role on NBC‘s hit competition show, The Voice, starting in 2024. Bublé’s entrance follows years of expressing his admiration for the series and coach Blake Shelton.

“I loved The Voice from afar for so many years,” Bublé said, attributing his decision to join the show to his friendship with Shelton. He stated it was a “huge honor” to become part of a lineup filled with some of the music industry’s most influential talent.

Bublé, known for hits like “Haven’t Met You Yet,” recalls his initial reluctance, having turned down offers to join the show multiple times over 15 years. However, with encouragement from Shelton, he decided to take on the Coach role after previously serving as an Advisor in Season 3.

During his first season as a Coach, Bublé shared his emotions, saying, “I was really nervous to do the show, but it’s the best job I’ve ever had. My mom and dad came today to see the first taping and they were like, ‘This is the greatest show on earth.’ It’s electric.”

Bublé’s excitement was apparent when he was spotted wearing a shirt declaring “Blake Wants Me,” showcasing his longtime admiration for Shelton. Bublé, a longtime fan of the series, has formed a strong connection with his fellow Coaches, which also include John Legend and Kelsea Ballerini.

The Voice’s Season 27 finale is set for May 19, 2025, and fans are eagerly awaiting to vote for their favorite contestants. Voting will begin at 5 p.m. PT and will end at 4 a.m. PT the following day, allowing fans to participate in crowning the season’s winner.

As the series approaches its exciting conclusion, Bublé’s involvement this season has added a new level of anticipation for viewers. Fans can catch the latest episodes on NBC and stream them on Peacock the following day.
