Aaron Hernandez Rob Gronkowski Patriots Rumors

Foxborough, MA — Former New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski recently addressed rumors about his late teammate Aaron Hernandez during an appearance on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast. These rumors allege that Hernandez would engage in inappropriate behavior during team meetings.

When asked by podcast host Taylor Lewan whether he had seen Hernandez masturbating during meetings, Gronkowski gave a cryptic response. “That’s a possibility, that one. I may or may not have seen it live. I’m not going to confirm or deny,” he said. He continued, expressing his carefree nature during their time together, stating, “I love crazy s— though, so I didn’t mind things like that. I was like, ‘Wow, that was pretty epic.’ I was a wild man myself, so nothing fazed me… I encouraged it.”

Hernandez and Gronkowski played together for three seasons, forming one of the most recognized tight end duos in NFL history. Hernandez was drafted in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft and quickly made his mark in the league, scoring 20 touchdowns and racking up over 2,000 receiving yards in his first three years.

In 2012, Hernandez signed a five-year, $40 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid player at his position at that time. However, his career took a dark turn when he was arrested and later convicted of first-degree murder in 2015. He died by suicide in 2017.

After his death, an analysis of Hernandez’s brain revealed a diagnosis of severe chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), which researchers deemed the worst case seen in someone of Hernandez’s age. This diagnosis sparked discussions about how CTE may have influenced his behavior and actions.

Gronkowski’s comments mark a rare public acknowledgment of Hernandez’s legacy, as he had remained largely silent about their time together until recently. Meanwhile, Gronkowski has gone on to become recognized as one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history.
