Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Valencia Anniversary

Valencia, California – Six Flags Hurricane Harbor will celebrate its 30th anniversary when it opens for the season on Saturday, May 24, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The waterpark invites guests to enjoy a sneak peek of its multimillion-dollar refurbishment.

First launching on June 16, 1995, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is the original among Six Flags’ water parks. Its anniversary marks a series of enhancements aimed at improving the visitor experience and park operations.

The park has been transformed into a tropical island village, featuring enhancements like an interactive volcano that will rumble and emit mist. All water slides have been restored with new colors and smoother surfaces for a better ride.

Other improvements include fresh paint for key areas, new landscaping, and an increased number of cabanas. Food and beverage options have been upgraded, with new frozen cocktail selections joining the menu.

A state-of-the-art conveyor belt will transport tubes to the top of the Tornado slide, and restrooms and changing areas have been refreshed. New sound systems, signage, and employee uniforms will add to the park’s themed atmosphere.

Special events, including a Military Appreciation Days sale this Memorial Day weekend, are also part of the celebration. Daily tickets start at $49 when purchased online, with gold passes and memberships available for unlimited access to both Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles and Magic Mountain, alongside benefits like free parking and discounts.

For more details about operating days and special offers, guests can visit the park’s official website. Don’t miss the limited-time Memorial Day sale offering up to 35% off online purchases.
