Je’Von Evans Debuts on SmackDown Ahead of Worlds Collide Show

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee — NXT star Je'Von Evans made his WWE main roster debut during the May 30 episode of SmackDown. The show aired just over a week before the highly anticipated Worlds Collide event on June 7, where Evans is set to compete.
This special event will feature a four-way match for the NXT North American Championship, with Evans facing current champion Ethan Page, SmackDown’s Rey Fenix, and AAA‘s Laredo Kid.
In his debut match, Evans teamed up with Fenix to take on the duo of Angel and Berto, known as Los Garza. The match ended in controversy as Page, who provided guest commentary at ringside, intervened, allowing Angel to pin Evans for the victory.
Despite the loss, Evans is viewed as a promising talent. He was previously chosen to compete against Randy Orton last October, highlighting the faith WWE has in his abilities. However, it remains unclear if his appearance on SmackDown indicates a full-time call-up or if it was merely to promote the upcoming Worlds Collide.
Meanwhile, Angel and Berto are also slated to appear at Worlds Collide, where they will join their Legado Del Fantasma leader Santos Escobar in a six-man tag team match against the AAA trio of El Hijo De Dr Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown.
WWE fans are watching closely as changes unfold with recent call-ups including Fraxiom, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer. NXT’s Ricky Saints is also rumored to be making a main roster debut soon, which fans are eagerly anticipating.
The future looks exciting for both Evans and Saints as they navigate this pivotal moment in their wrestling careers.
