OXFORD, Miss. — Lane Kiffin took a break from his busy schedule on Monday to discuss a range of topics following Ole Miss‘s recent victory over Oklahoma. The most pressing question was about his future with the Rebels, as speculation swirls around potential coaching opportunities at schools like Florida and LSU.

During an interview with Pat McAfee, Kiffin challenged the doubts surrounding his team. McAfee, who had predicted a loss for Ole Miss, later admitted, “That’s on me not having enough belief in you,” referencing the performance of quarterback Trinidad Chambliss.

Chambliss has been a standout this season, stepping up as a starter after an injury sidelined Austin Simmons. The former Division II star has made a significant impact, recording 2,240 yards and 14 touchdowns with just one interception, leading Ole Miss to a 5-1 record.

<p“We find ways to win all season,” Chambliss told McAfee after the game. “We’ve had a pretty good season so far.” He also expressed pride in bouncing back from a tough game against Georgia.

Kiffin, addressing rumors about his coaching future, stated, “I have never made a decision based off money, nor will I. I’ve seen too many examples in life where money does not buy happiness.” He emphasized that his focus remains on the team and not potential financial incentives.

The Rebels will host South Carolina this Saturday at 7 p.m. ET. Kiffin and his players hope to continue proving their doubters wrong as they move through the season.
