Sasha Farber and Emma Slater Share Support After Divorce

Los Angeles, CA – Sasha Farber spoke candidly about his relationship with Emma Slater following their divorce. Six months after Emma began dating fellow pro Alan Bersten, he stated that it is “not at all” uncomfortable to see them work together on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars.

“Definitely not awkward,” Sasha, 41, said during a recent interview. He expressed happiness for Emma and Alan, wishing them “nothing but the best.” Sasha and Emma, who married in 2018 after rekindling their romance in 2015, finalized their divorce in May 2023.

Reflecting on their past, Sasha noted, “Things don’t always work out in life. There’s no point to ever have any hate toward anyone because, what’s the point?” He emphasized the value of cherishing the good times they shared, saying, “You thank each other for your incredible time together, and you move on.”

Emma, 36, is currently partnered with Andy Richter on the show. She echoed Sasha’s sentiments, stating, “We support each other so much that I want the very best for Sasha.” Despite their split, both maintain a strong friendship.

Sasha previously paired with his partner Jenn Tran during season 33, but their romance ended in June when Jenn returned to Miami for her studies. Reflecting on their time together, Jenn said, “I loved every moment of it. It’s been just so beautiful to be able to do that together.” The support and shared experiences on the dance floor continue to hold a special place for both Sasha and Jenn.
