D.e. Shaw Hedge Fund Stocks

NEW YORK, NY – Billionaire investor David E. Shaw’s hedge fund, D.E. Shaw Group, has revealed its top stocks for investment as the market trends upward into 2026. Despite ongoing economic uncertainties, D.E. Shaw’s strategies have managed to deliver impressive returns.

Shaw’s flagship funds, including the well-regarded Oculus Fund, saw a strong performance recently, gaining 4.6% in July 2025, doubling its year-to-date return to 9.6%. Tom Lee, head of research at Fundstrat Global Advisors, forecasts that the S&P 500 could climb to 7,000. He noted that any market dips present buying opportunities. “We would not lean bearish because of shutdowns,” Lee stated.

Among the top picks from D.E. Shaw, AerCap Holdings N.V. (NYSE: AER) posted significant gains recently, recording $1.216 billion in net income for Q3 2025. The company has revised its full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $13.70. The firm has also recovered almost $475 million from assets lost due to the Ukraine conflict. This success underscores AerCap’s robust position in aviation leasing.

Roblox Corporation (NYSE: RBLX) also featured prominently, with its bookings for Q3 reaching $1.92 billion, indicating a 70% increase from the previous year. Despite reporting a net loss of $0.37 per share, Roblox saw a dramatic rise in user engagement, with total hours spent on the platform up 91%.

D.E. Shaw’s investment strategy continues to focus on diversified holdings that balance stability with the potential for high returns. The hedge fund has actively sought opportunities among transformative companies, employing sophisticated algorithms to identify high-risk, high-reward prospects.

The firm’s multi-strategy composite fund achieved an 18% return in 2024, showcasing the effectiveness of its investment decisions. As the equity market anticipates further highs, it remains crucial for investors to consider the stocks favored by industry leaders like D.E. Shaw.
