WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson recounted a bizarre experience during a live podcast with Megyn Kelly at the Westchester County Center on Wednesday night. Carlson detailed an incident from last year that left him feeling attacked by a supernatural force.

While on a truck ride home from quail hunting, Carlson engaged in a conversation with friends about a person he disliked. This led him to a moment of unexpected empathy, but the real shock came later when he woke up at 2:30 a.m. to discover claw marks on his ribs, which he claimed did not match his own fingers.

“I concluded that I had been attacked by a demon,” he told the audience, who reacted with a mix of laughter and disbelief. The event was filled with conservative supporters, including a couple from Pleasantville, New York, who expressed mixed feelings about Carlson’s direction. “I’m not as much with Tucker anymore,” said Mindy Berard, expressing concern over Carlson’s recent controversial interviews.

Among these was his conversation with white supremacist Nick Fuentes, which has ignited backlash even among Republican circles. “He’s the most dangerous antisemite in America,” Florida congressman Randy Fine called Carlson after the interview.

Despite this criticism, the crowd was generally supportive, chanting, “Tucker for president.” Kelly and Carlson engaged in a humorous back-and-forth that ran the gamut from personal anecdotes to conspiracy theories. Both have transitioned into independent media, finding ways to leverage their past experiences into new opportunities.

Kelly praised Carlson’s tenacity, saying, “He’s back and he is bigger than ever.” She drew parallels between their careers, referencing her own controversial moments in the media landscape.

The evening concluded with Carlson discussing UFOs, encapsulating his newfound freedom in the independent space. “You didn’t go away,” Carlson told Kelly, highlighting their shared journey since leaving Fox News. “You got bigger and you’re way happier and you’re beholden to no one.”
