JetBlue to Launch Non-Stop Flights from Destin to Boston, NYC in 2026
DESTIN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport announced Thursday that it is expanding flights to two major cities. JetBlue will begin offering daily non-stop flights to and from Boston and New York City starting March 5, 2026.
During a press conference, Okaloosa County Airports Director Tracy Stage expressed excitement about JetBlue’s arrival, highlighting the long-standing collaboration with the airline. “We’ve been collaborating with JetBlue for many, many years…and we’re ecstatic about having them join the family here,” Stage said.
The new service will connect passengers with Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). JetBlue plans to operate five weekly flights on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
This partnership is expected to generate 20 to 25 new jobs in the area. Stage noted, “Today marks another exciting chapter in our airport’s growth story and in the future of air travel for all of Northwest Florida.” With introductory fares starting at $49 one-way, the airline aims to attract travelers to both cities.
“We are honored that JetBlue recognizes this momentum and chose to invest in Okaloosa County and our region,” Stage added.
