AUSTIN, Texas — Fans of the hit series Landman can celebrate as the show officially returns for its second season on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 3:00 a.m. ET exclusively on Paramount+. The series, known for its gritty portrayal of life in the West Texas oil fields, ended its first season in January 2025.

The new season features an impressive cast, including Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, and others. Joining them are Sam Elliott as Thornton’s father and Stefania Spampinato, who plays the wife of Andy Garcia’s character. Garcia is also set to return with reportedly expanded screen time.

Created by Taylor Sheridan, Landman delves into the high-stakes world of Texas oil rigs, blending drama with Western grit. The show explores themes of power, greed, and survival in a volatile industry. The tagline for Season 2 hints at escalating tension: “As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets.”

Actors Paulina Chávez and Jacob Lofland teased the upcoming season’s rollercoaster of events, stating, “It’s gonna be a rollercoaster, for sure.” The first season’s thrilling conclusion left Thornton’s character Tommy Norris at a critical crossroads, setting the stage for the new episodes.

“I have to say it’s one of the best cast and crews I’ve ever worked with,” Thornton expressed about returning for Season 2. Elliott expressed gratitude for joining the show after his extensive career: “To have an opportunity like this after that much time is pretty special.”

As anticipation builds, fans can expect character developments, especially for Angela, played by Larter, who is set to face significant challenges as she navigates the dangers of the oil business. With the return of familiar faces and the introduction of new dynamics, Landman Season 2 is poised for intense drama.

The series will stream exclusively on Paramount+, which can also be accessed through Amazon Prime Video with an additional fee. For further excitement, viewers can watch the recently released trailer for Season 2, which promises a deeper dive into the struggles and secrets of the oil industry.
