PlayStation State of Play Spotlights Japanese and Asian Games
Tokyo, Japan – PlayStation has announced a special episode of its State of Play, scheduled for November 11 at 2 p.m. PT (5 p.m. ET, 11 p.m. CEST, November 12 at 7 a.m. JST). The broadcast will last more than 40 minutes and will showcase games developed in Japan and across Asia.
Hosted by popular Japanese voice actor Yuki Kaji, known for his roles in major anime series, the presentation will feature a variety of content including game announcements, interviews, and new trailers for anticipated titles. This edition of State of Play aims to highlight both beloved franchises and unique indie creations.
Fans can access a full Japanese-language version via the Japanese PlayStation YouTube channel. An additional version with Japanese audio and English subtitles will be available on the main PlayStation YouTube channel.
While the focus will be on Japanese and Asian games, titles from Western developers, like Housemarque’s “Saros” and Naughty Dog’s “Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet,” might not receive as much attention. However, one title expected to be highlighted is “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls,” developed by Arc System Works, a company widely known for its acclaimed fighting game franchises.
Another anticipated game is “Where Winds Meet,” an action RPG from Chinese developer Everstone Studio. Set in tenth-century ancient China, players embark on a journey to discover their identity. Expect promotional content as its global launch date approaches on November 14.
Additionally, fans are hoping for updates on titles such as the “Elden Ring Nightreign” DLC, “Phantom Blade Zero,” and “Tides of Annihilation.” Many are also wishing for hints regarding a new “Bloodborne” teaser. Viewers can tune in for this exciting event to see what PlayStation has in store.
