New York, NY — Odell Beckham Jr. is back in the NFL after serving a six-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy. The 33-year-old wide receiver is now eligible to sign with any team as he looks to continue his career.

Beckham Jr. was reinstated by the NFL commissioner earlier this week, acknowledging the end of his suspension. He expressed frustration over the situation during an appearance on The Pivot podcast, stating, “It is a serious thing when you get charged and someone says, ‘You failed for PEDs.’ I don’t take those words lightly.” He emphasized, “I’ve never failed a test, not once in my life.”

Having played for five teams and winning a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams, Beckham’s career has been marked by both highs and lows. The former All-Pro wide receiver has not had a productive season since 2019, raising questions about his impact as he seeks a new team in the upcoming weeks.

With Week 12 of the NFL season approaching and playoff hopes intensifying, teams may consider signing Beckham Jr., particularly those with injuries at the receiver position. Beckham’s last season ended with nine catches for just 55 yards in Miami, and it remains unclear how attractive he will be to potential suitors.

Although fans have speculated about a reunion with the New York Giants, the team is unlikely to pursue Beckham, given their struggles and limitations in roster space. “It doesn’t move the needle in the slightest for where this team is at right now,” noted an analyst. Yet, other playoff-bound teams like Denver, San Francisco, Kansas City, and Los Angeles could look to add his experience to their rosters.

Beckham Jr. has had impressive statistics in his career, with five star-studded years in New York that included 5,476 receiving yards, 390 catches, and 44 touchdowns. The league has given him a second chance, and Beckham insists he is ready to prove himself once again.

With his past accolades, some teams could be willing to take a risk on Beckham Jr. as they aim for a deep postseason run. The coming weeks will reveal whether he secures a contract before the end of the season.
