Goat Simulator 3 Expands Into Post-Apocalyptic Baadlands Today
STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Fans of Goat Simulator can celebrate the launch of the new expansion, Baadlands, today on Xbox Series X|S. Initially conceived as a western-themed downloadable content (DLC), developers Coffee Stain Publishing AB shifted their focus to a post-apocalyptic setting on the island of San Angora, where Goat Simulator 3 takes place.
The expansion brings a unique world, distinct from last year’s Multiverse of Nonsense, featuring a cohesive landscape rather than a mashup of various themes. In this new environment, players will encounter increased challenges as the world of Baadlands fights back more than ever, presenting seasoned players with new obstacles to overcome.
One of the notable features is the introduction of motorcycles, allowing players to traverse the sandy wasteland on customized rides. The expansion will also introduce a range of new Goat Gears, which are expected to push the limits of movement and physics. One such gear promises to offer humor with its silly but entertaining mechanics.
Players will control Baallistic Pilgor, navigating the landscape, establishing towns, and unraveling the mysteries behind the new vault in Baadlands. With a variety of new goats, quests, and achievements available, fans are eager to see how they can interact and unleash chaos across the new terrain.
“We have really outdone ourselves with the new abilities and dynamics,” a Coffee Stain representative stated during the announcement. “The fun comes from the unexpected bugs, and we can’t wait for players to break Goat Simulator 3 all over again.”
Baadlands is available now for $14.99, and for those with Xbox Game Pass, the experience continues to evolve. Players looking to revel in destruction or creativity are invited to jump into the newly expanded world.
