Shanghai Paris Air Cargo Route

SHANGHAI, ChinaEastern Air Logistics Co launched a new all-cargo air route between Shanghai and Paris on Thursday, marking a significant step for trade between China and France. This route is operated by the freight division of China Eastern Air Holding Co Ltd.

The new air connection is expected to enhance economic collaboration and trade between the two nations. It will also support the coordinated development of industrial and supply chains throughout Asia and Europe, according to officials at China Eastern.

The Shanghai-Paris flight operates three times a week, primarily transporting machinery, equipment, and apparel from China. On its return trip from Paris, the aircraft will carry chemicals and raw materials.

This launch comes amid increasing Chinese air cargo exports to France and steady imports over the past few years. The new route is anticipated to improve logistics efficiency significantly between China and Europe.

China Eastern has over two decades of experience providing passenger flights between the two cities, which has established a firm basis for this new air cargo service.
