Clemson Aims for Bowl Eligibility Against Furman on Senior Day
CLEMSON, South Carolina — The Clemson Tigers are set to host the Furman Paladins on Nov. 22 at 4:30 p.m. ET in what marks their final home game of the 2025 season. This matchup is crucial for the Tigers, who are looking to secure bowl eligibility for the 27th consecutive year.
Currently, Clemson holds a record of 5-5 with a 4-4 mark in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The Tigers earned a vital 20-19 victory over Louisville last week, which boosted their chances of extending their two-decade-long bowl streak. Quarterback Cade Klubnik is among the seniors playing their last home game at Memorial Stadium, contributing to a significant emotional atmosphere.
Furman, competing from the Southern Conference, enters the game with a record of 6-5 after dominating VMI with a score of 32-14 last week. The Paladins amassed a total of 448 yards of offense in that matchup, and quarterback Trey Hedden threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns.
Clemson leads the all-time series against Furman 44-10-4 and has not lost to them in 32 straight meetings, including a 35-12 win in the teams’ previous matchup during the 2022 season.
The game will be broadcast nationally on The CW Network, with Thom Brennaman and Will Blackmon covering the action from the booth. Wes Bryant will report from the field. Fans can also access streaming options, including a platform offering a free trial for new subscribers.
With a win, Clemson will clinch its sixth victory of the season, allowing them to maintain their impressive bowl game appearance streak. Only Ohio State, Georgia, and Oklahoma have longer active streaks of bowl eligibility than Clemson’s.
