Gretchen Mol Joins Tulsa King for Season Four as Politician Amanda Clark
ATLANTA, Georgia — Gretchen Mol has officially joined the cast of the hit Paramount+ series Tulsa King for its upcoming fourth season. Recently, production commenced, and Mol will portray Amanda Clark, a politician in Tulsa who is expected to create waves in the series, which stars Sylvester Stallone as the mobster Dwight “The General” Manfredi.
This casting marks a reunion for Mol and Terence Winter, the head writer and executive producer of Tulsa King. Winter previously worked with Mol on HBO’s acclaimed series Boardwalk Empire, where she played Gillian Darmody across all five seasons. Mol expressed her excitement for joining the series, stating she is “so excited to join this show.”
The fourth season of Tulsa King comes after the conclusion of Season Three, which will air its finale on November 23. The show combines elements of crime drama and political intrigue, and Mol’s role is expected to add depth to the series’ existing storylines.
Winter, along with Stallone, is among the executive producers for this season, which also includes David C. Glasser and Keith Cox. Despite facing production challenges, including the departure of over two dozen crew members, the series appears to be moving forward with positive momentum.
Tulsa King depicts Manfredi’s struggles to establish a criminal organization in Tulsa after being sent from New York City. The addition of a political character like Amanda Clark suggests potential conflicts between local government and the criminal underworld, heightening the stakes for the mob boss.
Other notable cast members expected to return include Martin Starr, Jay Will, and Vincent Piazza, anchoring a mix of new and returning characters in the ongoing drama. The series has gained consistent viewership, making it a flagship offering on Paramount+ thanks to Stallone’s leading performance.
Mol’s recent projects include appearances in Horsegirls and Millers In Marriage, both of which have received attention at film festivals. Fans can look forward to her dynamic performance as a new powerful figure in Tulsa King.
