Spacex Falcon 9 Starlink Launch

VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, California — SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket early on November 23, 2025, to deploy a new batch of Starlink satellites. Liftoff occurred at 12:48 a.m. PST (3:48 a.m. EST / 0848 UTC) from Space Launch Complex 4E.

This mission marked the first flight of Falcon 9 first stage B1100, which is the eighth new booster added to the SpaceX fleet this year. The rocket followed a south-easterly path along the California coastline, aiming for an orbit inclined at 53 degrees to the Equator.

About eight and a half minutes into the flight, B1100 successfully landed on the drone ship ‘Of Course I Still Love You’. This launch is part of a busy year for SpaceX, with the company reporting 110 Starlink delivery flights and reaching 8 million customers for its internet service.

SpaceX continues to expand its satellite network, which now includes over 9,000 operational satellites. The Falcon 9’s launch supports the company’s ongoing mission to provide global internet coverage.

Moreover, later in the same week, another Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to lift off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, to deliver additional satellites. SpaceX offers live webcasts for viewers wishing to watch these launches from home.

Elon Musk, who founded SpaceX in 2002, has propelled the company to the forefront of commercial spaceflight. The company is also working closely with NASA and the Department of Defense for various projects.

With the momentum SpaceX has gained in satellite launches, the future of its Starlink internet service looks promising. The satellites are designed to ensure robust coverage and meet high demand from customers globally.
