CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The #10/11 men’s ice hockey team from the University of Maine lost to #15 Boston College, 7-3, on Friday night at Conte Forum.

The Eagles started strong, taking a 2-0 lead into the first intermission due to two power-play goals. They extended their lead with a third goal just six minutes into the second period.

Maine’s Owen Fowler scored at the 13:05 mark of the second period, closing the gap to 3-1 at the end of the frame.

Charlie Russell then made it a one-goal game, scoring only 20 seconds into the third period. However, Boston College quickly responded, regaining their two-goal advantage shortly after.
