Dolphins Celebrate Win as Fitzpatrick Faces Fines
Miami, FL
The Miami Dolphins celebrated a hard-fought 16-13 victory over their opponents as they head into their bye week. Coach Mike McDaniel praised the team for their resilience, saying, “They fought for belief, and now they’ve been awarded real belief based on performance and results.”
This win marks the Dolphins’ second consecutive victory and their third in four games, improving their record after a rocky start of 1-6. They are currently fighting for a potential playoff berth.
Despite the team’s success, star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick has faced difficulties. The NFL recently announced punishments for game-related violations, which included two fines for Fitzpatrick totaling $29,561 for a hip-drop tackle and a low block.
As the Dolphins look forward to their next matchup, Coach McDaniel mentioned, “We need the time off. We definitely wish we could play; our locker room would probably want to play tomorrow even though they’re a little beat up.”
The Dolphins’ resilience on the field is apparent as they prepare for what lies ahead in the season.
