AEW Collision Brings High-Stakes Wrestling to Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV — All Elite Wrestling (AEW) held its Collision event at The Theater at Virgin Hotels on Saturday night, March 15, 2025, featuring a thrilling lineup of matches, including bouts in the International Championship eliminator tournament.
The tournament showcased Ricochet against Katsuyori Shibata and Mark Briscoe against Mark Davis, with the winners earning a title shot against Kenny Omega at the upcoming Dynasty pay-per-view. Collision kicked off at 8 p.m. ET and was broadcast on TNT and Max, drawing in fans eager for excitement.
In the first match of the evening, Ricochet defeated Shibata in a hard-fought battle. Although Shibata attempted to wear Ricochet down with sleeper holds, the techniques backfired as Ricochet executed a roll-up with leverage from the ropes to secure the win. “I knew it would be tough, but I had to dig deep,” Ricochet said in a post-match interview.
Mark Davis’s match also had its share of drama. Davis emerged victorious over Briscoe, thanks to an interference strategy employed by his allies, the Murder Machines. Davis capitalized on a distraction from Lance Archer, allowing Brian Cage to alter the outcome. “When you have friends like the Murder Machines, victory is just a matter of teamwork,” Davis stated after his win.
The show also featured a tag team rematch between FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and the Undisputed Kingdom (Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong). “We’re ready to reclaim our place at the top,” Harwood emphasized during a pre-match preview.
Thunder Rosa prepared to settle her growing rivalry with Megan Bayne, inspired by frustration over disrespect. Following her own match announcement, Rosa declared, “This business is built on respect, and I’m tired of being disrespected.” In an unexpected twist, Bayne assaulted Rosa mid-interview, escalating their feud further.
Other matches included a decisive victory for Will Hobbs, who defeated Griff Garrison with a spinebuster. The aftermath saw chaos as the Frat House intervened, and the Outrunners tried to balance the odds. “This rivalry is about proving who the strongest is,” Hobbs conveyed, reflecting on the tussling alliances. They stood tall in the ring after their skirmish.
As the night progressed, Swerve Strickland addressed potential opponents for the Dynasty event, emphasizing the competition’s intensity. He alluded to the challenges ahead, particularly with Jon Moxley, who took a brutal approach by attacking Swerve with a crowbar. “Respect gets you nothing in this business,” Moxley stated after the ambush, leaving fans on edge about the future encounters.
The evening concluded with a high-energy tag match that saw Top Flight & Hologram defeat Lee Moriarty & The Infantry. Dante Martin delivered the winning blow, showcasing his trademark athletic prowess. “Every match is a chance to prove ourselves, especially with Lio Rush and Action Andretti watching,” Martin commented after the victory.
As the crowd dispersed, anticipation built for future matchups, including Thunder Rosa facing Megan Bayne and the highly anticipated clash between FTR and the Undisputed Kingdom.
