Alejandro Fernández to Receive International Excellence Award at Soberano Awards

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic — Mexican singer Alejandro Fernández, known as “El Potrillo,” is set to attend the 40th edition of the Soberano Awards this evening, March 25. The event will take place at the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito, where Fernández will be honored with the Soberano Internacional a la Excelencia Artística for his remarkable contributions to Latin music over more than three decades.

During his visit, Fernández was spotted cruising through the streets of Santo Domingo in a 2025 Lamborghini Urus, accompanied by popular urban artist El Alfa. Both artists shared a video on social media, expressing their delight at being in the Dominican Republic.
