Amber Alert Issued for Missing Toddler in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KTIV) – Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for Javion Bluebird, a one-year-old boy reported missing after being forcibly taken from his grandmother’s home. The incident occurred Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. in Sioux Falls.
According to police reports, Javion was abducted by Lelana Sitting Up, a 29-year-old woman who allegedly displayed a weapon during the incident. The toddler is described as a Native American male, 2 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 25 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a Pampers diaper and white crew socks.
Sitting Up is also a Native American, standing at 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair styled in a ponytail. She has a notable tattoo that reads “No Excuses No Regrets” on the right side of her neck. At the time of the abduction, she was dressed in a black shirt and sweatpants.
Law enforcement officials reported that Sitting Up was last seen driving a white 2000 Chevrolet Impala, which has a loud exhaust. She was accompanied by a 17-year-old female, whose identity has not been disclosed by authorities.
Police confirm that Sitting Up is in a relationship with Bluebird’s non-custodial father, Jade White, which further complicates the investigation. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sitting Up or the white Impala is urged to call 605-367-7000 or dial 911 immediately.
