Amen Thompson Houston Rockets Game Against La Clippers

In a thrilling matchup at the Toyota Center, the Houston Rockets secured a 111-103 win over the LA Clippers, thanks in large part to the outstanding performance of Amen Thompson. Thompson, who came off the bench, recorded an impressive double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. He also contributed three assists, two steals, and a block, showcasing his all-around skills on the court.

Thompson’s impact was felt particularly in the second half, where he and teammate Tari Eason, collectively known as the “Twin Terrors,” disrupted the Clippers’ offense and forced multiple turnovers. This duo’s energetic play helped slow down Clippers superstar James Harden, who had a strong start to the game.

Harden, a former Rockets favorite, initially set the pace for the Clippers with multiple three-pointers and effective playmaking. However, Jalen Green‘s strong three-point shooting kept the Rockets ahead in the first half. Green finished the game with a team-high 21 points, further aiding the Rockets’ victory.

The game marked the Rockets’ third consecutive win and set the stage for their upcoming Emirates NBA Cup game against the Clippers on Friday night at the Toyota Center.
