Arunachal Pradesh Governor Unveils New APPSC Logo
In a significant event held at Raj Bhavan in Itanagar on October 10, 2024, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.), unveiled the new logo of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC). The unveiling ceremony was attended by key figures including APPSC Chairman Prof. (Dr.) Pradip Lingfa, members Col Koj Tari (Retd.) and Jalash Pertin (Retd.), along with Secretary Mrs. Parul Gaur Mittal, among others.
Governor Parnaik underscored the pivotal role played by the State Public Service Commission in forging the state’s future. He emphasized that fair, transparent, and sustainable practices by the Commission are crucial for ensuring positive future outcomes in essential state services, particularly in administration. “The Commission must focus on fairness, transparency, and sustainability to ensure positive outcomes,” he remarked.
The newly designed logo, described by the Governor as imaginatively conceived, is said to embody the principles of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ and the state motto ‘Karmnishtha Yogyata Nishpaksha’ which stands for conscientiousness, merit, and fairness. Governor Parnaik expressed hope that the logo would inspire a new vision and zeal among members and officials of the APPSC, encouraging them to meet the expectations held by Arunachal Pradesh’s youth.
During the event, the Governor advised the Commission members to maintain high ethical standards, diligently avoid conflicts of interest, and ensure transparency in decision-making processes. He stressed that all actions of the Commission must be rooted in merit-based principles.
Following the logo unveiling, APPSC Chairman Prof. (Dr.) Pradip Lingfa and the accompanying members briefed the Governor on the functions and objectives of the Commission and reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the Commission’s integrity and ethical standards.
