Assam Police Constable Admit Card 2024 Released for PET/PST
The State-Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) of Assam has officially released the admit cards for the Assam Police Constable Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) scheduled to commence on October 3, 2024. Interested candidates can access their admit cards by visiting the official SLPRB website, slprbassam.in.
According to the announcement made on September 23, candidates must provide their application number or phone number along with their date of birth to download their admit cards. The admit card contains essential details, including the date, time, and venue of the examination, in addition to important guidelines that candidates must adhere to.
The SLPRB outlined that the PST will not carry any marks but will measure the height, weight, and chest (for male candidates only) using advanced technology. A medical examination will follow, including checks for knock knees, vision, color blindness, flat feet, varicose veins, and other physical deformities. Following a successful PST completion, candidates will proceed to the PET, which involves a 3,200-metre race for male candidates and a 1,600-metre race for female candidates.
In a statement, the SLPRB clarified that candidates who have applied for multiple posts will only need to pass the PET/PST once, given that the standards for the race are the same for different positions. The recruitment drive covers various vacancies, including 1,645 positions for Constable (UB) in Assam Police and 2,300 Constable (AB) posts, among others.
For individuals experiencing difficulties in downloading their admit cards, the SLPRB has provided a helpline contact at 8826762317 and an email address at [email protected] for assistance. Furthermore, the board has communicated that notification of admit cards has also been sent to candidates via SMS and email.
The SLPRB has highlighted that this year’s exercise is aimed at fulfilling a wide array of constable positions, including specialized roles such as Boatman, Driver Constable, and various APRO roles.
