Atlanta Woman Competes for Love on Season 29 of ‘The Bachelor’
Season 29 of ABC‘s hit reality show “The Bachelor” is set to premiere later this month, featuring 30-year-old Grant Ellis, a day trader from Newark, New Jersey, as the leading man. Among the 25 women vying for his heart is Bailey Brown, a 27-year-old social media manager from Atlanta, Georgia.
Brown, described in her official bio as a “loyal, witty, and confident woman who is always on the go,” has already captured the attention of Bachelor Nation. Her love for travel is evident, as she once took a flight solely to level up her airline status. “Bailey is looking for a man who is funny, thoughtful, and very family-oriented,” her bio reads. “Bonus points for a guy who can snap a cute pic of her.”
Ellis, who previously competed on Jenn Tran‘s season of “The Bachelorette,” was eliminated just short of the hometown dates. Now, he’s ready to find love as the Bachelor. The show will premiere on Monday, January 27, on ABC.
Joining Brown in the competition is Radhika Gupta, a 28-year-old attorney from Floral Park, New York. Gupta, an associate at the Manhattan branch of the international law firm Ropes & Gray, graduated from New York University Law School in 2021. Her bio describes her as a “Harry Potter nerd” who values her Indian heritage and hopes to find a partner who shares her family traditions.
Other contestants include Beverly Ortega, a 30-year-old insurance salesperson from Howard Beach, Queens; Kelsey Curtis, a 26-year-old interior designer from Brooklyn; and Manhattanites Chloie Costello, Zoe McGrady, and Sarafiena Watkins, each bringing their unique backgrounds and aspirations to the show.
As the premiere date approaches, fans are eager to see if Ellis will find his perfect match among this diverse group of women. Will Bailey Brown’s charm and adventurous spirit win him over, or will another contestant steal his heart? Tune in to find out.
