AVTT/PTTN Makes Live Debut at NYC’s Loreto Theater
NEW YORK CITY, NY — AVTT/PTTN, a collaboration between Scott and Seth Avett from The Avett Brothers and Mike Patton, made their live debut on November 25, 2025. The performance took place at The Loreto Theater at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture as part of the Grammy Museum’s ‘New York Evening’ series.
The trio performed four songs, showcasing their new material and sharing insights with moderator Eric André. AVTT/PTTN is gearing up for their official tour, set to begin in March 2026 after the anticipated Big Ears Festival.
Prior to their performance, Patton and the Avett Brothers participated in a signing event at Rough Trade. Additionally, they taped a performance for ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, which is scheduled to air later on November 26.
The group has announced a series of 22 concerts across North America from April to June 2026, including stops in major cities like Louisville, Nashville, and Brooklyn. The tour supports their collaborative album, ‘AVTT PTTN’, released on November 14, 2025.
Fans are excited about what the live shows will offer. “We’re probably going to perform all nine songs from the record, plus a lot of Avett songs for sure,” Seth Avett shared. He added there might be covers of each other’s songs, making each show unique.
The nine-track album features a mix of styles, aiming to create an inviting atmosphere akin to gathering around a campfire. Highlights from the album include tracks like ‘Dark Night of My Soul’ and ‘Heaven’s Breath’.
As anticipation builds for their upcoming tour, the trio emphasizes the surprises their live shows may hold for audiences, stating, “What’s exciting about it is the unknown.”
