Azerbaijan Army Enhances Psychologists’ Training with New Program

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17 — The Azerbaijan Army is taking important steps to improve the training of its military psychologists, according to the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense. A specialized psychological exercise was conducted at the Military Management Institute of the National Defence University to enhance the effectiveness of military psychologists in challenging situations.
The exercise featured presentations from psychologists invited from Türkiye. They covered topics such as ‘Personality Disorders’ and ‘Blackboard Therapy.’ Participants learned about the power of verbal communication, how words influence self-control, and recognized significant signs of personality disorders.
To reinforce their learning, participants engaged in interactive tasks designed to evaluate their theoretical and practical knowledge. The exercise concluded with a Q&A session, allowing attendees to clarify their understanding and seek further insight on the trends in psychology relevant to military operations.
