Georgia Power Tree Trimming, Bainbridge

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. – The City of Bainbridge is informing residents that Georgia Power will soon start tree trimming in the area to improve the safety and reliability of the local energy grid.

City officials stated that trees and limbs often cause power outages when they come into contact with power lines. To combat this issue, Georgia Power has hired professional utility arborists and specialized teams to trim or remove trees that are too close to power lines and within utility right-of-ways.

All tree work will be carried out focusing on safety and quality. If any tree removal is necessary on private property, the residents affected will be contacted directly by Georgia Power.

Residents with questions or concerns about the project can reach out to Georgia Power’s Customer Support Team at (877) 276-0578. City officials express their gratitude to the community for their patience and cooperation as Georgia Power works to reduce outages and ensure safer, more reliable power service.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to maintain the energy infrastructure and enhance service reliability across Bainbridge.
