Bedard Mcdavid Nhl Game Matchup

EDMONTON, Alberta — NHL fans are in for a treat on Saturday night as top draft picks Conor Bedard and Connor McDavid face off at Rogers Place. The Chicago Blackhawks (5-4-2) visit the Edmonton Oilers (5-4-3) in a highly anticipated matchup at 10 p.m. ET.

Both players have been standout performers this season. Bedard, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, has tallied 14 points, with six goals and eight assists in just 11 games. McDavid, who was the first overall pick in 2015, trails closely with 14 points as well, having scored three goals and provided 11 assists in 12 games.

On another exciting front, the Philadelphia Flyers, riding a three-game win streak, will take on the Toronto Maple Leafs at Xfinity Mobile Arena at 7 p.m. ET. The Flyers’ forward, who was acquired from the Anaheim Ducks earlier this season, has been pivotal with seven points during this stretch.

The Montreal Canadiens also hope to build on recent success when they host the Ottawa Senators, after a thrilling overtime win against the Seattle Kraken earlier this week. Canadiens’ forward Cole Caufield will look to continue his scoring streak as he leads the team with nine goals this season.

Other games scheduled for Saturday include the Calgary Flames facing the Nashville Predators, with Flames’ center Nazem Kadri approaching his 1,000th NHL game, and the Vancouver Canucks challenging the Minnesota Wild, as Canucks forward Sherwood shines in a struggling season.
