Bhuvneshwar Kumar Shines In Ranji Trophy Comeback Match

Indian cricketer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has made a splendid comeback in the Ranji Trophy 2023-24. After a long absence from international cricket, Bhuvneshwar has showcased his exceptional bowling skills once again. Playing for Uttar Pradesh against Bengal, he took three wickets in his opening spell.

Uttar Pradesh had a disappointing first innings, getting all out for just 60 runs. In response, Bengal’s opening batsmen, Saurav Paul and Shreyansh Ghosh, came to the crease. Bhuvneshwar started the 11th over for Uttar Pradesh and dismissed Saurav on the fourth ball. In the same over, he also took the wicket of Sandeep Kumar.

Bhuvneshwar claimed his third wicket by dismissing Anustup Majumdar. He bowled 20 runs in his 11 overs, including 3 maidens. This remarkable performance on his comeback proves that Bhuvneshwar is ready to return to the Indian cricket team.

It’s worth mentioning that Bhuvneshwar last played a Test match for India in January 2018 and his last ODI was in January 2022. He made his last T20 appearance for India in November 2022.
