Justin Bieber Vintage Fashion Met Gala 2025

NEW YORK CITY — Justin Bieber, the 28-year-old founder of the skincare brand Rhode, recently stepped out in a vintage Gucci outfit, making a bold fashion statement. On April 30, Bieber was seen wearing a baby blue Gucci by Tom Ford shift dress from the label’s Spring/Summer 1998 collection in New York City.

This look not only highlights Bieber’s fondness for vintage clothing, but it also hints at a connection to the upcoming Met Gala. Bieber’s stylist, Dani Michelle, shared on her Instagram that the dress was previously worn by Anna Wintour, the iconic editor of Vogue and a co-chair of this year’s gala.

Wintour wore the dress to a U.S. Embassy party in Paris back in 1998. Michelle put her own spin on the outfit, adding nude stilettos, chic sunglasses, and a beige clutch to modernize the look. Bieber also accessorized with her popular Rhode phone case.

As the 2025 Met Gala approaches, the theme this year is inspired by Black culture, titled “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” It will honor the artistry and contributions of Black culture to fashion. The gala is set for May 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Bieber made her Met Gala debut in 2016, previously captivating attendees with various outfits, including a decorative Topshop dress and a plunging Saint Laurent gown in 2021. In 2022, she made headlines for her dramatic white outfit complemented by a feathery cape.

As anticipation builds for this year’s event, attention will be focused on how attendees interpret the dress code, “Tailored for You,” emphasizing the tradition of tailored menswear.

This year’s Met Gala marks a celebration of style and cultural significance, as highlighted by music producer Pharrell Williams, who is serving as a co-chair. He reflected on the meaning behind the theme and its connection to Black achievements.

With only days remaining until fashion’s biggest night, guests like Rihanna, Colman Domingo, Simone Biles, and LeBron James are also set to attend, ensuring a star-studded red carpet.
