Big Ten Reveals 2025 Football Season Kickoff Times and Networks

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference, along with its media partners, announced kickoff times and network designations for the first three weeks of the 2025 football season on Thursday.
This season marks a continuation of the Big Ten’s full schedule airing on CBS, FOX, and NBC, along with extensive coverage on Big Ten Network and streaming platforms like Peacock. A total of at least 55 football games will be broadcast on major networks this fall, enhancing the league’s visibility.
The announcement includes notable matchups scheduled from August 28 to September 13, showcasing both non-conference and in-conference games. For example, the season opener features Ohio at Rutgers on August 28 at 6 p.m. ET on BTN.
The Big Ten Football Championship Game is set for December 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, where the top two teams will compete at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
Kickoff times and network assignments for games not yet announced will be confirmed later, based on the conference’s 12-/6-day in-season selection process.
Among the highlighted games, Texas will take on Ohio State on August 30 at noon ET on FOX, which is expected to be a key matchup for the season.
