BILBAO, Spain — The Bilbao BBK Live festival has announced its highly anticipated 2025 lineup, featuring prominent artists including Måneskin frontman Damiano David, Canadian producer Kaytranada, and the innovative duo Sparks. The festival is set to take place from July 10 to July 12 in the stunning hills of Kobetamendi.
This year’s event will showcase over 80 artists, with previous headliners such as Pulp and Kylie Minogue already confirmed. “We are thrilled to bring such a diverse collection of artists to our audience,” said Eva Castilla, communications director at Bilbao BBK. “Each act contributes to the unique experience we strive to provide.”
Among the newly announced acts are renowned names like Japanese Breakfast and the Australian rock group Amyl and the Sniffers. The festival will also highlight the local Basque music scene with performances from Mirua and Tatta & Denso.
This year’s festival introduction includes an innovative club concept called Gorria, which organizers describe as “an ever-shifting dancefloor anarchy.” Each night will present a curated experience led by different collectives, fostering an environment where attendees can express themselves freely.
Kylie Minogue will headline the festival’s final day, while Day One is marked by Pulp’s first headlining performance at the event. The inaugural day will also feature Spanish acts such as Hofe and Pablopablo, alongside renowned rock bands like Hinds and Wunderhorse.
On the second day, the spotlight will shine on female artists with performances from RAYE and dancehall star Bad Gyal. Other acts include Australian pop favorites and the emerging Spanish artist Amaia.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale starting March 27, 2025, with day passes priced at €65 plus fees. Children under the age of 11 can attend for free with prior registration.
The Bilbao BBK Live festival is known for its dynamic lineup and scenic backdrop, reinforcing its position as a staple in the European music festival circuit. “Partnering with The Independent is an exciting moment for Bilbao BBK Live,” Castilla added. “We aim to enhance our festival’s creative spirit through this collaboration.”
