Bilt Card 2.0 Mortgage Payments

NEW YORK, NY — Bilt Rewards has announced the launch of its new Bilt Card 2.0, set for February 7, 2026. This innovative series of credit cards will allow users to accumulate points on mortgage payments regardless of the lender.

For years, Bilt has focused on rent payments and spending in local neighborhoods for earning rewards. The new feature marks a significant evolution for the Bilt brand, enhancing the financial benefits for homeowners. As the company prepares for this shift, existing applications for the Bilt Mastercard will close at noon on November 5, 2025.

The Bilt Card 2.0 will consist of three new options: one with no annual fee, one for $95, and the other for $495. Current cardholders will be given the choice to transition to one of these new cards after the full details are revealed in January.

If existing users decide to switch, they will undergo a soft credit pull, meaning their credit scores won’t be negatively impacted. Bilt promises a seamless transition, stating that existing cardholders won’t need to update any of their subscriptions or autopay settings.

In a statement, Bilt emphasized the groundbreaking opportunity for homeowners: “For the first time, any mortgage payment can earn rewards with Bilt points.” This change is expected to benefit millions of homeowners across the United States.

Daily newsletter subscribers expressed excitement about the new offerings, as current Bilt users stand to gain rewards for payments that typically do not earn points under conventional card programs. Bilt Senior Director of Content stated, “2026 is the year of Bilt for me.”

Overall, the new Bilt Card 2.0 aims to reshape how consumers view their financial responsibilities. Offering a method to earn travel rewards on mortgage payments could significantly enhance the appeal of the Bilt brand.

As the February launch date approaches, Bilt will keep current and prospective cardholders updated on additional details regarding the new cards.
