Bobbi Althoff Opens Up About Dating Life After Divorce and Recent Split
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Influencer and podcaster Bobbi Althoff revealed her relationship status in a candid TikTok video posted Jan. 20, confirming she is single again after a brief romance. The 27-year-old, who finalized her divorce in August 2024, shared details about her dating life and the challenges of reentering the dating scene.
“Me and my ex-husband broke up around July 2023, and I didn’t talk to anyone else for a year,” Althoff explained in the video. “I got lonely and met a guy around Thanksgiving. I thought it was fate, but clearly it wasn’t.” She described the relationship as moving quickly but ultimately ending after two breakups, with her ex-partner deciding to cut ties permanently.
Althoff emphasized that she had “nothing negative to say” about her former partner, calling him “really thoughtful” and admitting he “raised the bar” for her. However, she acknowledged the difficulty of moving on. “It’s hard to imagine there’s a world where there’s someone who’s actually meant for you,” she said, tearing up during the video.
The influencer, who shares two daughters—Luca, 4, and Isla, 2—with her ex-husband Cory, also addressed critics who suggest she should focus solely on her children. “I love my kids, but I was 21 when I met my ex-husband. He was 30. I was really young and immature,” she said. “I don’t think because my relationship didn’t work out and I have kids that means I need to be single for the rest of my life.”
Althoff’s divorce from Cory, finalized in August 2024, cited “irreconcilable differences,” according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. The couple agreed to joint custody of their children. Since the split, Althoff has kept her dating life largely private, though she sparked speculation in December by posting a blurred video with an unidentified man on her Instagram Stories.
Fans speculated the mystery man could be NFL players Sean Murphy-Bunting or Cedric Ogbuehi, but both men denied the rumors. Ogbuehi commented on social media, “This is not me or Sean lol,” to which Althoff responded with “!!!!” to further dispel the claims.
Althoff rose to fame in 2023 after a viral interview with rapper Drake, which led to unfounded rumors of a romantic relationship. She has since amassed a significant following, with 8.2 million TikTok followers, 4 million on Instagram, and nearly 1.5 million YouTube subscribers.
Despite the challenges, Althoff remains hopeful about finding love again. “I’m gonna go back to dating because I don’t think my past should dictate my future,” she said. “I hope to find someone, but it’s hard to believe I will.”
