Boogie Fland Withdraws from 2025 NBA Draft, Eyes College Return

Fayetteville, Arkansas – Former Arkansas guard Boogie Fland has withdrawn from the 2025 NBA Draft, his agent confirmed to ESPN. The talented freshman initially declared for the draft after just one season with the Razorbacks but is now seeking his next collegiate opportunity.
Fland entered the transfer portal following his freshman year, where he demonstrated promise but faced challenges. He averaged 13.5 points per game over 21 games, starting 18. However, a torn UCL on his right thumb sidelined him for over two months, impacting his performance when he returned.
Despite his injuries, Fland contributed to the Razorbacks’ Sweet 16 run, although his final games were less than stellar. In the first-round victory against Kansas, he logged 24 minutes but scored only 6 points on 2-of-7 shooting, including missing all four three-point attempts.
Fland was projected as a second-round pick, ranked No. 44 overall by ESPN analysts Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo. His return to college basketball makes him one of the most sought-after players in the transfer portal. It remains to be seen if he will find a new home or choose to return to Arkansas.
