Boston Warm Weather Spring 2025

BOSTON, Mass. — Boston reached 60 degrees for the first time in 2025 on Monday, signaling a welcomed shift in the weather. This April-like forecast is predicted to linger for another day, bringing clear skies and comfortable temperatures.

The warm weather is expected to continue with highs in the low to mid 60s throughout the afternoon. However, the South Coast, Cape, and Islands may remain cooler due to a southerly breeze, with temperatures stuck in the 50s.

While residents enjoy the sunshine, they are advised to stay cautious about possible brush fire hazards. Wind gusts are forecasted between 25-35 mph, combined with lower humidity levels and dry brush, could elevate the risk of wildfires.

A cold front is slated to sweep through the region tonight, which will bring a significant drop in temperatures. Bostonians should prepare for morning lows in the 30s and highs in the 40s on Wednesday and Thursday, with an increase in cloud cover.

Late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, a brief snow or wintry mix may impact the area. Although it won’t be cold enough to accumulate widely, areas north and west of Boston might see a light coating.

Thursday is expected to remain cloudy and generally dry, contrasting with the warmer conditions experienced earlier in the week.

Looking ahead to the weekend, forecasters are monitoring a system that could bring heavy rain and strong winds on Sunday. However, temperatures are expected to rise again, providing some relief and potentially improving overall Sunday plans.
