Brighton & Hove Albion has officially announced that head coach Roberto De Zerbi will be departing the club following the upcoming Premier League fixture against Manchester United at the American Express Stadium.

De Zerbi, who took over Brighton in September 2022 after Graham Potter‘s move to Chelsea, has overseen the team’s best-ever finish in the top flight during the 2022/23 season and guided them to the last 16 of the UEFA Europa League this campaign.

Club Chairman Tony Bloom expressed gratitude for De Zerbi’s contributions, highlighting the club’s achievements under his leadership, particularly the historic European campaign.

Roberto De Zerbi thanked the players, staff, and fans for their support during his tenure, expressing pride in the milestones attained by the team over the past two seasons.

Several other staff members, including Andrea Maldera and Marcello Quinto, will also be departing alongside De Zerbi, while coaches Andrew Crofts and Jack Stern will remain with the club moving forward.
