Bucks County District Attorney Election Results

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The 2025 general election has concluded, and results for the Bucks County District Attorney’s race are emerging. Current District Attorney Jennifer Schorn is challenging lawyer Joe Khan, with results reported as they come in.

Jennifer Schorn, a Republican, is seeking re-election with her party’s backing. In contrast, Khan has secured the support of the Democratic Party. The results are unofficial until certified by the Bucks County Board of Elections.

Joe Khan brings extensive experience to the table, having served as a county prosecutor and federal prosecutor, as well as county solicitor for Bucks County. His work has earned him accolades such as Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Solicitor and Government Lawyer of the Year. Notably, Khan led the first county lawsuit against TikTok and other social media giants, focusing on their impact on children.

Khan, a Doylestown resident who raises his two sons locally, has actively participated as a volunteer and coach in youth sports. Meanwhile, Schorn became District Attorney in January 2024, following former DA Matt Weintraub’s appointment to the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. With over 25 years as a prosecutor, she has handled serious criminal cases, including murder and human trafficking, and is credited with solving multiple cold case homicides.

In addition to the DA race, Bucks County voters decided other key positions, including Sheriff, attracting attention due to incumbent Fred Harran’s controversial partnership with ICE through the 287(g) program, which has faced criticism from immigrant rights advocates.

Polling locations in Bucks County closed at 8 p.m. EST. Results will be updated throughout the evening, keeping the public informed on the unofficial counts as they come in. Voter turnout remains a critical aspect of this election as various offices, including school boards, are contested.
