Buffalo Police Investigate Second Fatal Shooting in Two Days

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon, marking the second homicide in the city within two days. The incident took place just before 1 p.m. near the intersection of East Delavan Avenue and Roslyn Street, east of Bailey Avenue, according to a City of Buffalo spokesperson.

A 32-year-old man was transported by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity pending family notification.

This shooting follows another fatal incident early Saturday morning. At approximately 2:30 a.m., Buffalo Police responded to a shooting during a party at the 300 block of Perry Street housing complex. Details about that case remain under investigation.

Buffalo Police are urging anyone with information about either shooting to contact their confidential tip line at 716-847-2255. The department has not yet confirmed whether the two incidents are connected.
