Brad Sherman California Congressman Flight Incident

Los Angeles, California — Congressman Brad Sherman was seen looking at sexually explicit photographs on a flight, causing outrage among passengers and social media users alike.

The incident occurred on November 14, 2025, when an unidentified passenger shared images of the 71-year-old lawmaker ogling scantily-clad women on his iPad. The post quickly went viral, prompting widespread condemnation.

“Why did Congressman Brad Sherman feel it was appropriate to look at porn during a flight today? His district deserves better representation than this!” the post stated, along with three images showing Sherman seemingly mesmerized by the content.

Hours after the photos surfaced, Sherman admitted to scrolling through the images but claimed he was not intentionally viewing pornographic material. In an interview, he said, “If I see a picture of a woman, might I look at it longer than a sunset? Yeah.” He explained that he was navigating X’s ‘For you’ page when the photographs appeared.

“I must’ve looked at more than 1,000 posts,” Sherman added, trying to clarify the context. He attributed the risque photos to social media algorithms, saying, “Is it pornography? I don’t think Elon Musk thinks so.” However, he acknowledged that looking at such images was not appropriate.

Reactions on social media were swift and scathing. One user remarked, “With the screen brightness ALL the way up. Not an ounce of shame.” Another added a facepalm emoji and said, “Get a privacy screen.”

The incident even attracted attention from members of the Republican party. Steven Cheung, White House communications director, commented on Sherman’s facial expression in the images, saying, “Bruh. What a total gooner.”

In a further twist, Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace juxtaposed Sherman’s behavior with her own recent airport experience, emphasizing the scrutiny faced by Congress members. Sherman, under fire for his actions, responded by calling for the Trump administration to ‘release the Epstein Files.’
