Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 Launches with New Features

LOS ANGELES, CA — Activision is set to release Season 5 of Call of Duty: Mobile, titled “Primal Reckoning,” on May 28 at 5 PM PT. The new season will introduce various features, including a new multiplayer map, weapons, and a themed Battle Pass.

Players will explore the Zoo Multiplayer map, which is designed around an abandoned zoo. This map incorporates a mid-sized layout with animal pens and overgrown attractions. It’s a throwback to the original Zoo map from Call of Duty: Black Ops.

The new VMP SMG will also debut in this season. Players can enjoy a high fire rate and extended magazine capacity as they take down their foes. Additionally, the Combat Axe and Smoke Grenade will receive new skins, enhancing gameplay visuals.

In Battle Royale mode, players can visit Buy Stations scattered around the map, allowing them to purchase weapons and perks. Players can loot enemies they eliminate to gather cash for their next buys, adding a strategic layer to encounters.

This season’s Battle Pass is inspired by NieR: Automata and offers a landscape of dystopian themed Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, and other in-game rewards. Players will be introduced to characters like the Kui Ji – YoRHa No. 9 Type S operator and others from the collaboration.

A unique event also features the elite YorHa Unit counteroffensive against Machine Lifeforms. Players can earn rewards by completing objectives, which include various themed weaponry and Operator Skins.

The Battle Pass will have both free and premium tiers, with a range of items that players can unlock through gameplay. Players are encouraged to check the in-game Events tab for new missions and ongoing activities throughout the season.
