Carlos Alcaraz French Open 2024

PARIS, France — Carlos Alcaraz is set to compete in the French Open final against Jannik Sinner, where a win could earn him over £2 million. The match, scheduled for this weekend, will be crucial for the defending champion, as he aims for his fifth Grand Slam title.

At just 22 years old, Alcaraz has already built an impressive net worth of approximately £29.5 million. His career prize earnings have reached £30 million, and this season alone, he has earned £2.8 million prior to the French Open.

If Alcaraz successfully claims a second consecutive title at Roland Garros, he plans to celebrate with a new pair of sneakers, reflecting his modest approach to financial gains. “Maybe not after every big win, but if I reach the semi-finals, I like to buy myself new sneakers,” Alcaraz told Tennis Channel.

Beyond prize money, Alcaraz has made significant income from endorsements. He has partnerships with prominent brands such as Louis Vuitton, Rolex, and Nike. Last year, he signed a £160 million deal with Nike that runs into the following decade.

His earnings have skyrocketed, with estimates of £23.6 million in revenue over the past year, bolstered by exhibition matches that can pay him up to £1.4 million just to participate.

Alcaraz’s popularity in France is expected to grow with another potential victory against Sinner. The Spanish player has successfully defeated opponents like Lorenzo Musetti and Ben Shelton to reach the final and holds a 7-4 record against Sinner.
