Cattle Country Festival Gonzales Texas

The Cattle Country Festival, located in Gonzales, Texas, and roughly an hour and 15 minutes from Austin, is gearing up for its second year, already drawing attention with its lineup of notable country music performers. Scheduled for April 10-12, 2025, the festival will be headlined by Parker McCollum, alongside country music legends Tanya Tucker and Clint Black, with more than 23 other artists expected to perform. This event follows the success of the inaugural festival which featured Eric Church.

The festival takes place at The Boot, a sprawling 400-acre ranch that offers a picturesque setting between Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. With accommodations ranging from traditional camping to luxury ‘glamping’, the festival promises a laid-back yet exciting weekend for attendees. The location boasts 150 acres of pecan trees and access to the Guadalupe River, providing opportunities for fishing, floating, and swimming.

This forthcoming festival is not just a musical celebration but also a nod to the town’s heritage. Susan Sankey, interim director of the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, noted the festival’s economic impact, remarking on its positive effect in a press release. “This is especially fun as we celebrate our town’s 200th birthday in 2025,” she shared. Gonzales, described as a ‘vibrant community’, expects to host numerous visitors who will enrich the town and share in its music and culture.

Returning festival-goers will find enhanced facilities, with more camping and RV spaces available, as well as expanded amenities within the Glamping Village and on site. This move aims to accommodate the expected influx of music lovers. Festival passes are currently on sale, with pricing for three-day admission ranging from $179 to $699. Camping spots are available starting at $59, and glamping access at $2,500, with other amenities possibly incurring additional costs.
