MIAMI, FL — Jarrett Allen scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 130-116 victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night, ending Miami’s four-game winning streak.

De’Andre Hunter contributed 21 points and pulled down six rebounds, while Cleveland managed to win despite being short-handed. The Cavaliers played without three All-Stars: guard Darius Garland, who aggravated an injury, and two others who were resting.

The win improved Cleveland’s record to 15-7 following a regular-season loss under coach Kenny Atkinson. The Cavaliers capitalized on Miami’s 21 turnovers, scoring 29 points off those mistakes. They also outscored the Heat 31-18 in the final 10 minutes of the game, flipping a 14-point deficit into a lead by the end of the third quarter.

Miami’s leading scorer was Andrew Wiggins, who put up 27 points. Kel’el Ware added a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Despite the loss, Miami was competitive, leading by as many as 12 points in the second quarter.

Cleveland’s win sets them up for their next game against Toronto at home on Thursday. Miami will visit New York on Friday.
