Cleveland Cavaliers Vs Milwaukee Bucks

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Cavaliers (1-1) are set to host the Milwaukee Bucks (2-0) for their home opener at Rocket Arena on Sunday evening. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.

This matchup marks the first of four regular season games between the two teams. The Cavaliers are looking to build on their recent win against the Brooklyn Nets, having struggled defensively in their first two outings.

Cleveland’s injury report lists De’Andre Hunter as questionable due to a knee issue, while Max Strus (foot) and Darius Garland (toe) are both out. The Bucks report Giannis Antetokounmpo as probable with a toe injury, and Kyle Kuzma is questionable (ankle). Kevin Porter Jr. is out for the Bucks due to an ankle injury.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has had a strong start to the season, averaging 34 points and 17 rebounds over the first two games. The Cavaliers will need solid defensive efforts from Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley to contain him.

On the offensive side, Donovan Mitchell has been a bright spot for the Cavaliers, scoring 30 points or more in each game, including a recent performance of 35 points on just 15 shot attempts. The Cavaliers will likely rely heavily on Mitchell for scoring, especially given the injuries to other key players.

The Bucks, meanwhile, have been impressive offensively, sitting fifth in the league for offensive rating. They are looking to end their five-game losing streak against the Cavaliers, who swept last season’s series.

With Cleveland favored by 6.5 points, both teams aim for a strong showing as they adjust to the early season. The game will be broadcast live on FanDuel Sports Network.
