CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers are poised to kick off their 2025 NBA Playoff journey on April 20, following a successful regular season that secured them the top seed in the Eastern Conference and home-court advantage. Their first-round matchup is set against the No. 8 seed, a position yet to be determined as the NBA Play-In Tournament continues through April 18.

As the playoffs approach, the Cavaliers have enjoyed some much-needed rest. Their series will start at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, with the opening game scheduled for Sunday at 7 p.m. ET and broadcast on TNT.

The full playoff schedule for the Cavaliers is as follows:

Game 1: April 20 vs. East #8 at 7 p.m. on TNT
Game 2: April 23 vs. East #8 at 7:30 p.m. on NBA TV
Game 3: April 26 vs. East #8 at 1 p.m. on TNT
Game 4: April 28 vs. East #8 at TBD
Game 5: April 30 vs. East #8 at TBD*
Game 6: May 2 vs. East #8 at TBD*

During this playoff run, the Cavaliers are hosting pregame Fan Fests along East 4th Street, offering live DJ performances, entertainment, and prizes for fans. For those unable to attend games, official watch parties will be organized in Cleveland, fostering community spirit as the Cavs aim for the championship.

In addition, East 4th Street will become a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) to enhance the playoff atmosphere. Adults age 21 and older can enjoy drinks outside during playoff games, while DJs, prizes, and free ice cream will attract crowds.

Transportation for fans attending the games is accessible through Tower City, which serves as an RTA station and offers round-trip train rides for $5. Trains are scheduled to run every 15 minutes during the playoffs, with ample parking also available in the vicinity.

The conference semifinals are expected to begin between May 3 and May 6, depending on the outcomes of the first round. Following that, the conference finals will be held from May 18-21, culminating in the 2025 NBA Finals beginning June 5, exclusively on ABC.

As the Cavaliers gear up for what they hope will be a memorable playoff run, fans remain excited about their prospects following a strong season.
